Ghugni

In this resource post, I am going to discuss about a special recipe, famous all over India, but is known to have originated from Bihar. Ghugni is a very classical type of dish in which you will find the aroma of real Indian food. Not to be doubted, you will surely ask for more one you taste, it. There are many styles of cooking this famous dish of Bihar known as Ghugni. I am going to post the way of cooking a really spicy Ghugni. People sometimes confuse by hearing this name, Ghugni. Anyway, here is a picture of Ghugni. So without wasting much time lets get into the kitchen and prepare, taking out the ingredients required first.

Ingredients

Legume seeds, of varities, example, kabuli chana,
Peas
Maize seeds (as per your wish)
Garam masala
Capsicum
Onion for taste
Salt (as per taste required)
A couple of spoons of water
Cooking oil (mustard oil recommended)

Method

It is a straightaway cooking recipe. Take a frying pan. Put one teaspoon of oil in it. Then put half a bowl of sliced onion. Put capsicum, salt and garam masala, at first. Then add a bowl full of chana, peas, maize seeds, and stir fry. Let it be cooked for sometime. Then add two teaspoon of water, so that it does not burn. Serve it with come garnish of coriander leaves. Your ghugni is waiting for you at your dining table.
