The Jharkhand government is really actively showing their interest and since they claimed that they will improve their condition of the state, they are showing their put ups on the media pages at least. Following are the issues which came to be heard in some last.

1. Metro Railway - The hottest topic in the whole of Jharkhand, I mean the good one is that the Jharkhand government is planning to construct metro railway in the capital of Jharkhand, that is Ranchi and also in bigger cities. The government has started the planning of what to do and what not to do. The planning is going on for 3 cities basically for the time being - Ranchi - the capital, Dhanbad, the coal city, and the Mini Mumbai - Jamshedpur. The survey for the construction has been started in these three cities. This information was given by the deputy cheif minister of Jharkhand Raghuvar Das in the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed town hall of Jamshedpur.

2. Town Hall - The government is also planning to build new and better town halls in the cities of the state. In the presence of the Chief Minister Shibu Soren, the deputy cheif minister Raghuvar Das said that just like in Jamshedpur, new and improved town halls shall be built in Deoghar and Dumka too. He also said that the town hall in the capital, Ranchi has also become quite old and it will be demolished and reconstructed.

3. Coal and Electricity - The Deputy Cheif Minister Rahuvar Das also stressed on the issue of electricity and coal. Taking into consideration the problem of electricity in the state he said that 40 percent of the coal of the nation is in Jharkhand itself because of which electricity is present 24 hours in other states but the parent supplier is void of the facility. He said that every day, about 4 lakh tonnes of coal is supplied to Gujarat, Punjab and West Bengal but Jharkhand is still in darkness. The government has planned small and big projects. According to these, in the next two years, the problem of electricity in Jharkhand will be over and Jharkhand will be independent of electricity while it will be able to sell electricity to other states too in the next 5 years.
