Anil Kumar Mishra of Hazaribag, Jharkhand gets Ashok Anchal Smriti Award

The English teacher in a school of Netarhaat, Mr. Anil Kumar Mishra, received the Ashok Anchal Smriti 2010 award in the Satyabharti hall in Ranchi on 19th February 2010. Living in the Matwari area in Hazaribag, Anil got this award for his great style and work in poetry from the Ashok Anchal Smriti nyaas from the chief guest of the ceremony, the very popular writer Hairat Farookharbaadi. The father of Anil, Professor B. K. Mishra has been the head of the department of the sanskrit language subject in Saint Columba College and Vinoba Bhave University in Hazaribag. The mother of Anil Kumar Mishra is occupant in the agriculture department and she is an earning woman. Anil has been a brilliant and a bright student right from his childhood and in the field of writing, he has received much recognition.

He received his double M.A. for English and Sanskrit from the Vinoba Bhave University and after that he was selected as a teacher in Netarhaat, some ten years ago. Since then he showed his worth even more in the field of writing. In the year 1988, he passed his matric examination from the Jila School situated at Hazaribag and did his graduation from the Degree Saint Columba College, Hazaribag. By receiving this award, he has increased the respect for the name Hazaribag and has showed that people from small towns and from small cities can also do better, sometimes like a great professional, just like our very respected Anil Kumar Mishra.
