Note down the recipe and the ingredients required to make Capsicum Pakoda (Shimla Mirch Pakora) - A Famous Recipe of Jharkhand and Bihar.

Ingredients to make Capsicum Pakoda

1. 2 Capsicums
2. Besan (Gram flour) - 200 grams
3. Salt - According to taste
4. Turmeric - As required, about 1/2 teaspoon
5. Cumin powder - 1/2 spoons
6. Pepper Powder - 1/2 spoons
7. Oil - to fry
8. Water - to make pastes (not more than 150ml)

Method to make Capsicum Pakoda

Cut the two capsicums you have taken by the sides (horizontally) in slices. One capsicum must be cut into about 5 to 6 pieces. Now take a container, put Besan, Salt, Turmeric, Cumin powder, Pepper Powder and mix them with water to make a good paste. You can sense the smell of the paste is so nice that you would like to have it there itself.

Now put the oil, in a frying pan and heat it. Dip those capsicums in the paste you have just made and then put them into the frying pan containing the oil. Let the pakodas be fried for about 5 to six minutes. Do 2 spells, one for each capsicum. Now, you can also garnish the pakoda with coriander leaves if you wish to, however not necessary.

The Capsicum Pakoda is ready for you to be enjoyed.
