In his all life, Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India was a very bright student. When he was just 5 years old, his parents decided to make him gain knowledge studying under a Maulavi and he learnt Persian, Hindi and Arithmetics.

Later on, Rajendra Prasad moved on to Chappra District School situated in Chappra, Saran, Bihar. After completing his elementary education, he turned up to T.K. Ghosh's Academy in Patna. Being an extraordinary student, Rajendra Prasad topped the entrance examination of University of Calcutta and for topping the examination, he got a scholarship package of Rs. 30 per month. He also studied in the famous college of Presidency College.

Initially Rajendra Prasad was a science student being taught by teachers like Jagadish Chandra Bose, but later on, he decided to excel in the field of Arts.

In 1915, Rajendra Prasad graduated in Masters of Law and then went to complete his Doctorate in Law.
