The countdown of the Bihar Assrmbly Elections 2010 is now started. The most of the parties/alliances have decleared their contesting candidates and Cheif Ministerals candidates for Bihar Assembly Elections 2010.

At the same time Nitish Kumar, Lalu Yadav and Ram Villas Paswan have collectively announced that they are not going to contest Bihar Assembly Elections 2010.

Nitish Kumar, the present CM of Bihar and the Cheif Ministeral Candidate of BJP-JDU alliance, said that he is not interested to fight Bihar Assembly Elections 2010. Nitish kumar further said that he is still an MLC and has 2-3 years left to complete the term. Instead of contesting the Bihar Assembly Elections 2010, Nitish Kumar is going to start the elections campaign for all 243 candidates of NDA for Bihar Assembly Elections 2010 from this October, as the Election Commission of India has been announced the schedules for six phase Bihar Assembly Elections 2010.

On the other hand, RJD Supremo and Cheif Ministeral Candidate of the RJD-LJP alliance, Lalu Peasad Yadav and LJP cheif Ram Vilas Paswan will also not going to fight Bihar Assembly Elections 2010. They have collectively decided that instead of contesting Bihar Elections 2010, they concentrate their minds on electioneering.

The results date of Bihar Assembly Elections 2010 is 24 November. So voting counting for Bihar Assembly Elections 2010 will start on 24 November, and evening of that day, the name of winning party or alliance will be announced which may form State Government in Bihar for the next five-years term.
