Indore-Gwalior Intercity Express Accident with Boxcar train

In the morning of September 20, 2010, a carriage train or boxcar train or what we call maalgaadi came and dashed the Indore-Gwalior Intercity Express. It was on the Badarwas Railway station in Shivpuri which is in Madhya Pradesh, a state very near to Jharkhand, that the Indore-Gwalior Intercity Express was hit so badly.

It is said that still in the heap of the bogie of the Indore-Gwalior Intercity Express many people may be lying dead. It is known that 21 people have died in this Indore-Gwalior Intercity Express accident and as much as 50 people are injured. Out of 21, 11 have been recognized.

The rail minister, Mamta Banerjee has said that the family of the victims who have died in the Indore-Gwalior Intercity Express accident will be sympathized with a sum of Rs. 5 lakhs, the badly injured ones will get Rs. 1 lakh and the less injured ones will get Rs. 50,000. Moreover, she has promised that one relatives from the family in which the one died in the Indore-Gwalior Intercity Express accident will be given a job as well.

Moreover, the driver of the maalgaadi has not been found yet. It is known that when the Indore-Gwalior Intercity Express accident took place, the station master of Badarwas station was drunk and that is why he could not do the needful.
