Motichoor Ka Ladoo


This is an another sweet delicacy of bihar. It is a sweet which is popular all over India and it is an indigenous sweet dish for Bihar. Learn how to make motichoor ka ladoo in this resource.

Today I am presenting 'Motichoor ka Ladoo' also we know it as the famous 'maner ka ladoo' which is completely made from ghee. Another name for this ladoo is 'boondi ka ladoo'.

So friends lets come and take a look at the preparation of this sweet delicacy.

Ingredients for Motichoor Ka Ladoo


Besan - 150gm
Baking Soda - a small pinch
Sugar - 150gm
Water - 60ml
Cardamoms - 5gm
Pistachios Nut - 15gm
Ghee - 30gm(for mixing)
Ghee - for frying

How to prepare motichoor ka ladoo?


1. Make a thick batter with besan and baking soda dissolved in water.
2. Heat ghee in a deep fry pan.
3. Drop batter through a perforated spoon. Fry for one or two minutes.
4. Prepare sugar syrup with sugar and water to two minutes stirring consistency.
5. Put fried boondi into syrup.
6. Add crushed cardamom and pistachio nuts and form the boondi into ball shape.
7. The sweet motichoor ka ladoo is ready.

For a good presentation of this we can also spread silver paper over the ladoos.
