LJP and RJD to contest jointly - Bihar Assembly elections 2010

LJP and RJD decide to contest jointly in this year's Bihar Assembly Elections.

It seems that RJD and LJP have decided to shake hands with each other for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2010.

Sounds strange, isn't it?

Well, maybe both the parties are satisfied with this decision.

Rashtriya Janta Dal(RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav is the Chief Ministerial Candidate, representing both the parties. Whereas, the Lok Janshakti Party(LJP) chief Pashupati Kumar Paras will be the candidate for the post of Deputy Chief Minister, representing the same.

On Monday, Aug 16, the Rashtriya Janta Dal(RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and the Lok Janshakti Party(LJP) president Ram Vilas Paswan declared the seat distribution arrangement for Bihar Assembly Elections 2010.

RJD:- 168 Seats

LJP:- 75 Seats

Total:- 243 Seats
