Profile, Biodata and Biography of Deepika Kumari

Deepika kumari has brought proud to Jharkhand by winning two gold medals in the Commonwealth games 2010.

Deepika Kumari, a 17 years old girl has made the state of Jharkhand proud. She won two gold medals in archery in the CWG games 2010 held at delhi. Her mother Geeta Mahto and Shiv Narayana mahto supported her in each step. She is a resident of Lohardaga district of jharkhand.

A few years ago Deepika Kumari was in class VI. She studied in a private village school in Ratuchatti, 12 km from Ranchi. She was carried to a local archery competition by her cousin. From then onwards her interest in archery arose. There she decided what she wanted to do. Thereafter she aplied for admission in Arjuna Archery Acdemy at Kharsawan. She worked hard to learn every detail of archey. Finally Deepika Kumari got a golden opportunity to represt Jharkhand in the commonwealth games.
