50% Polling Done in the Fifth [5th] Phase of the Bihar Assembly Election 2010


The Bihar Assembly Election 2010 is going on. Not less than 50% polling has been done. Read this article to know more about the 50% polling done in the 5th phase of Bihar Assembly Election 2010.

Despite the fear and threats of the Bihar Naxalites, more than 50% polling has been done in the Bihar Assembly Election 2010 5th phase. The Bihar naxalites have continuously been threatening the people of Bihar to not contest and poll in elections. They have announced bandhs as well as they have come doing big damage to the society by destroying the transportation and security systems of Bihar and Jharkhand as well.

However, for the 35 seats of 8 districts, the total percentage of polling was about 50%. However, 281 people have been arrested for trying to create non-peaceful situations.

Following are the percentages of Bihar Assembly Election 2010 5th phase polling in Bihar -

Gaya - 49%
Jehanabad - 51%
Shekhpura - 50%
Patna - 52%
Nalanda - 49%
Bhojpur - 50%
Avaral - 47%
Navada - 49%
