Vaishali reflects the rich culture and history of ancient Bihar.

Vaishali the capital of Lichchavi is world's first republic.

Swastika shaped monastery can also be visited ; the remains of this monastery clearly reflects that it had 12 rooms,a central hall,it was actually a vihar for monks.

According to historians this was the place where Amrapali , first female disciple of Lord Buddha met him & she invited him for dinner where she was given the status of his disciple.

Lord Buddha gave last sermon at this place.
